Self-taught and resistant to digital manipulation, Jess has been drawing and painting their whole life. They have in past years been learning traditional crafts, imbuing them with their creative sense. They work with themes of motherhood, ecology, queerness, and animism. For almost a decade, they have published the risograph print series “BLOOD MOON” which is a lunar calendar that can be used to track menstruation.
