piñon perfume
carry the smell of the high desert with you wherever you go! this solid perfume is made with ethically gathered piñon pine pitch (sap), and smells just like the air in northern new mexico. the squatty piñon pine tree uses pitch to heal itself, and i gathered the golden nuggets of hardened sap only from the ground around them after it falls off.
each perfume comes in a slide-open tin, hand stamped for you and tucked in the cutest little envelope. use the back of your thumbnail to scrape some out, then rub it into your pulse points. absolutely no essential oils in this subtle but intoxicating fragrance, only piñon pine pitch, jojoba and olive oils, and the same beautiful beeswax i use in my candles. this perfume doubles as a medicinal salve, due to the piñon’s antimicrobial, antifungal and warming properties.
