10th anniversary BLOOD MOON lunarium
10 years ago, i felt inspired by the menstrual tracker in my slingshot planner to create something that i could use to compare my own cycle to that of the moon. the first BLOOD MOON lunarium (moon calendar) was born, xerox printed and shared with all my friends.
today the calendar is risograph printed locally with Oddities Prints. The imagery is (as always) hand drawn and layed out without digital assistance, literally cut and pasted. you can still use the BLOOD MOON to track menstruation or other cycles, and some folks even do so with their own blood! you can also just enjoy it, and reference it whenever you’re wondering what the moon is up to. my deepest thanks goes out to those of you who return to me every year for one of these, and also to you who may be just beginning this tradition! the print is 11x14 inches, on beautiful warm-brick colored cardstock. i ship in special packaging that doesn’t require folding of the artwork.
